Steve’s strategy guide

Team Dinosaur Strategy Guide:

The key to victory for the Dinosaurs, lies in their overwhelming numbers. Although individual dinosaurs may not be as strong as the Robots, their strength comes from unity and aggression. The primary goal is to neutralize the Robot fighters swiftly to avoid them targeting weaker dinosaurs without being broken. Remember, combining attacks can be a powerful tactic to take down larger Robots. Your mantra should always be: “Be aggressive. Be, be aggressive.”

Key Points:

  • Swift Elimination: Prioritize taking out Robot fighters as quickly as possible to avoid letting them exploit your weaker dinosaurs.

  • Combine Attacks: Use coordinated attacks to tackle bigger Robots effectively. Teamwork is crucial for success.

  • Haramiyida is the great equalizer: If the Robot army builds up rapidly, utilize Haramiyida's unique abilities to level the playing field. Consider playing Haramiyida just before the asteroid hits to open up a path to the shield generators.

  • Pachycephalosaurus can be a game-changer, especially when played on Asteroid day. Utilize its flipped ability to clear the way to target the shield generator.

  • Strategic Sacrifice: In desperate situations, don't hesitate to sacrifice some dinosaurs for the greater cause, a fighter has to rest after a battle even if they win.

Team Robot Strategy Guide:

Robots must adopt a more strategic approach, given their lower number of fighters compared to the Dinosaur team. Success depends on careful planning and effective defense of the shield generator. Not every Robot needs to engage in combat; when active they defend the shield generator.

Key Points:

  • Strategic Elimination: Defeat some dinosaurs without breaking Robots to maintain a strong presence on the battlefield.

  • Timing Matters: Be mindful of the timing for repairing the shield generator. Save resources when it's not immediately necessary.  You might only have enough broken robots for one repair.  Remember that repairing the shield generator is unnecessary until the 4th day.

  • Hold Back Fighters: In case of a breakaway game with a large army, consider retaining some fighters in your hand for contingencies. Haramiyida's unpredictable strikes may require adaptability.

  • Reinforcement Placement: Be strategic when deploying reinforcement fighters. You can choose not to put them down if it benefits your overall game plan.
